I ordered this when we decided to add a bathroom in our walk-out basement. The plumber explained what we would need and I found this, so thought it was worth a shot as the price is really good. I can report that he was able to install it with no trouble, and he said it is well made and powerful enough that we shouldn't have any problems with the new system. It performs exactly as it's supposed to, operates fairly quietly, and I really feel like I lucked out with this. Five stars.

This pump is very powerful and runs slightly quieter than the pump it replaced.It has multiple connections that allow you to install a fully functioning bathroom in areas that would otherwise need major modifications for proper waste disposal.The unit can be installed directly behind a toilet with exposed drainage plumbing or behind a wall to conceal the plumbing.Regardless of the pump installation location, a rear discharge toilet is the only toilet that will work with this system, otherwise any versions of sinks, tubs, or showers will work with regard to proper drainage slope toward the pump.There is an access panel on the top of the pump to clean out any clogs if any should happen.The unique thing about this pump is that there are two possible discharge ports on this pump vs. only one discharge option on many similar pumps.I feel that is a very powerful and quality pump unit.If you are looking to add a bathroom an need a below grade drainage solution that doesn't require demolishing floors, this is the pump you want.

I've been asked to add a bathroom to our below grade basement for decades, so this super affordable pump was finally what pushed me over the edge to take on the project.Be sure to reach out to your local authorities to determine what permits and inspections you'll need to add another bathroom to your home and tie into your sewage lines.Kit comes with everything for the pump itself, but you will have to plan all the rest: placement, walls, electric, water, sewage, new toilet/sink/shower, do you want to hide it, etc.Read the instructions well, then read them again, watch videos on how to do it, and plan plan plan before you measure twice.It is possible for a confident DIY to knock this out, but plan with your family as you will have to shut down water and usage while you're working.Great price for this style pump and definitely would get this again.
