I upgraded from a kitchen aid that died during on the job. This machine is super powerful and well worth the money.Feels sturdy and looks it'll last a long time hopefully. Easy to use and clean. It's a little bigger then my old one but that's ok its still easy to store and handle. It does the job well.
It took me sooooo incredibly long to find the perfect immersion blender, but this one is IT. I was looking for a BIFL (Buy It For Life) option and this has not disappointed. I will update in a few years and let you know how it's holding on, but as of now, it's great.I- t feels incredibly sturdy, plastic parts are minimal (just the handle itself) and the whole immersion part is stainless steel. there's a little silicone ring on the inside of the immersion snout, but it's to prevent things from sticking and it's minimal. I'd be okay if it was all stainless steel, but it's WAY more than Teflon or a plastic attachment that I've seen. We are very concerned with forever chemicals and microplastics making it to out food, and there are concerns with both of those when you're dealing with hot liquids and high rotation knives - I can't imagine bits of those wouldn't make it into your food while blending.- It's powerful! We barely use much of its power and it does an AMAZING job blending frozen things or soups. The most power we use is to blend meats from cooking broth to make pierogi filling and it still does a good job.Overall, I was looking for a blender to prepare food safely for my baby and this did not disappoint. I'm so glad there are still good quality appliances! I would 100% recommend.
Con: The head does not fit a standard wide mouthed mason jar.Pro: The head is large enough to process a large amount at once.Con: There is this rubbery substance on the handle with membrane buttons. This will eventually wear out, where as all steel all the way up and tactile buttons would last much longer. This is a very minor con, they actually feel fine.Pro: It has all the power you will ever need, It liquefies smoothies, soups, sauces, (including mayonnaise) and traces soap.Con: If you don't pay attention to how you connect the blending shaft to the motor there is a definite pinch hazard.Pro: The blending shaft is long for reaching into tall vessels.Pro: It's corded so you never have to worry about running out of battery, or an internal battery reaching end of life and not being able to be replaced.Pro: It has variable speed and a turbo speed function. The buttons are on when you press and off when you don't. Simple.Con: It's expensive.I'd buy another one if I lost this one. It's the best immersion blender I've used.
