Plum drop is identical in color to Clinique’s Black Honey. It is better actually in ingredients, feel, and affordability. My lips are dark, so when I applied both Honest and Clinique versions they looked raisin brown, which I’m not into as I don’t want darker lips. I was hoping for a plum berry red though. You never know with tints how they will show up over your own unique lip coloration; it will be different on everyone. Thankfully I was able to return both products here on Amazon without a problem. This Honest Beauty product is still most definitely 5 star worthy! I’ve already ordered Blood Orange and Fruit Punch. Can’t wait to see how they’ll look on me :)

I got the plum shade. I'm a lip product fanatic and this was an all time favorite. The color is a beautiful sheer plum tint, very flattering. The shine was subtle, but still beautiful. They are very hydrating and have a slight brownie or cake scent to them which I enjoyed. The product isn't sticky, but feels waxy/gel like. You can also build up the color too, but it will still be sheer.

I really love this lip product for its color (I got the shade “Plum Drop”) and its application. It’s natural-looking and makes my lips shine and feel so smooth. Top photo is before, bottom photo is with just a few swipes on my bottom lip and then I rub it into my top to get an even color. Quality of the pic isn’t great but you can still see the difference!Reasons why I took off 1.5 stars: It doesn’t last very long, I have to reapply a several times throughout the day to achieve this pigment. Major reason why I wouldn’t buy this product again is for the ingredients. It contains Red, Blue, and Yellow dyes which are harmful/toxic and unnecessary. Sad because I would probably buy again otherwise. “Honest” beauty products containing harmful ingredients… not my favorite. If that doesn’t concern you, you’ll probably love this product!
