My husband and I used these to stay in touch during our move from Texas to Florida. We had two separate vehicles and these were easier to communicate with than calling each other on our phones. We chatted most of the drive and the batteries lasted quite awhile before needing to recharge. Definitely recommend for long road trips!

I was kind of unsure of the range or quality of sound of these walkie-talkies because of others reviews. But I needed a way to talk to and keep track of my grandson around our small town. I saw one of his friends used a set like these and thought I would try them. I am very pleased!! Very good range, very good connection and clear conversation! Now I can check on him all around town when he goes out to play with friends and he can get in touch with us with a click of a button. So much more sturdy and cost effective than cell phones, yeah I am one of those that dislike young kids with cell phones and sitting on them rather than getting out and interacting with friends and life!!

These walkie talkies have great sound and sufficient range. They are not very easy to setup and we discovered that the batteries supplied are not rechargeable, and we ending spending an extra 13.00 For them.
